You can sing karaoke at many of the different karaoke clubs in Hong Kong. The biggest Karaoke clubs are Neway and Red Box.

Karaoke normally costs about $50 at lunch time and $100 in the evening per person.

Hiking

Hiking is very popular in the autumn and winter when it is not too hot. There are many hiking tracks in Hong Kong.

The Wilson trail on Hong Kong Island and Kowloon and the Lantau trail on Lantau Island are very long. You can try and do the whole trail or just a bit of it.

You can get amazing views when you hike along the Dragon's Back in Shek O.

 

Cinema

Hong Kong has many different cinemas. You can watch a movie and treat yourself to some popcorn.

A ticket to watch a movie costs about $30 for children and $50 for adults.

Lots of the beaches in Hong Kong have water sports centres where you can try windsurfing, kayaking and surfing.

There are many sports centres and sports grounds in Hong Kong where you can play basketball, football, badminton, table-tennis and squash.

Hong Kong also has many swimming pools.

You can go ice-skating at Festival Walk in Kowloon Tong or at City Plaza in Tai Koo.
